QCodeEdit Description

A framework designed to make edition of source code easy for both users and developers QCodeEdit is written in C++ using the Qt 4 framework which make it cross-platform. QCodeEdit has been designed for three main purposes: efficiency, flexibility and ease of use. Indeed QCodeEdit is much more lightweight and significantly faster than QTextEdit/QTextDocument. However QCodeEdit also has different goals and thus limitations. QCodeEdit is meant to work with source files and not any kind of rich text like QTextEdit handles so well.QCodeEdit is a project aiming at the creation of a flexible and powerful text editing framework for Qt4. QCodeEdit has started as a sub-project of Edyuk, a free and open source IDE.As it proved successful it is also released as a standalone library to make it easy for everyone to use such a framework within other apps without having to reinvent the wheel. Requirements: · Qt 4.3 or later What's New in This Release: · many bugfixes, mostly in syntax engine · cleaned code snippets and moved them from the example app to the library · implemented placeholder affectors (not currently used by snippets though) · added session management
