A tracker for watching anime written in Python The PyAnimeList application does what the name suggests it does - it tracks watched anime in Python. PyAnimeList was designed for those who like to keep track of things, but who do not need all the features of sites like MAL (myanimelist.net) and/or want an offline alternative to it. Requirements: · Python What's New in This Release: · all recent changes are now saved, but still only 15 are displayed · custom exception now known as HandledException · moved int_input into CLI · added getAnime() to Core · converted Core into a more 'instacy' format (somewhat improves efficiency) · fixed bug where you get dupes when changing an Anime's title in CLI · fixed add(), clear() functions · added init() function · added simple acronym support to search() · modified custom exception structure (now parent with many sub-exceptions) · getAnime() now more efficient w/ binary search · added some comments to CLI · changed db format · checks db version on start · fixed avg rating calculating bug · moved default location to ~/.pyanimelist/ · added universal input function to CLI (still need to implement it everywhere) · now no need for front end to manually save the changes · modify() in CLI slightly more efficient · some small style updates · added GUI interface with a mostly completely feature set
