Open source tool for sending ICMP packets from your Mac's command line Pings is an open source tool that will allow you to send ICMP packets with a custom type, code, ID and sequence (for ping query and reply) and also to send multiple packets or filling them with the data of a file or with a specific size and some other options.The Pings tool has also a listening mode but works only on some systems.Installation and usage: Unarchive, open a Terminal window, go to Pings' folder and run the following commands from the command line:gcc pings.c -o pings./pings Requirements: · Apple Xcode (to build Pings from source)
