PKanaEditor Description

PKanaEditor allows you to write text in romanji and have it transliterated to Hiragana, Katakana, an Kanji PKanaEditor (Perl Kana Editor) is a little text editor. Its purpose is to allow occidental people to write text in romanji (Western characters) and have it transliterate to Hiragana, Katakana, an Kanji. This editor's first goal is to transliterate Romanji to Hiragana/Katakana, but it's easily and heavily tunable, and about 80 Kanji are available in the embed data file.PKanaEditor is multiplateform and can be used on Linux based system but also on Mac OS X, Windows systems (only XP tested) and most of the UNIX based system (*BSD, etc.).To compile the code for your Mac you have to enter the following commands in a Terminal window (after being sure you are in the PKanaEditor folder):qmake PKanaEditor.promake./PKanaEditorRequirements:· Qt4 (at least 4.2.0 but 4.3.0 or newer is recommended), g++ and make.
