Command line tool for removing amenities from OSM files Occasionally you may want to customize an OSM file to your own requirements, and this is where the OSM Wrangler tool comes in. OSM Wrangler allows you to remove all amenities of the specified type(s) if you don't care about them. For example, you can remove all payphones and all postboxes, if you don't need them in your map, to stop them from cluttering up your view of the town centre.
