Google Chrome extension that sets a user-specified URL to load in new tabs New Tab Redirect! extension enables you to save precious time by automatically loading your most frequently used or your favorite URL, every time you want to open a new tab.Note: Google Chrome extensions do not currently have access to interact with the omnibar for highlighting after the new page is created. There is an experimental API to retrieve values and detect user input in the omnibar, but it does not allow extensions to highlight the text. Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences. Requirements: · Google Chrome What's New in This Release: · Removed validation of URIs on the options page. Be warned: if you type in gibberish, your redirected new tab page will be gibberish.
