MySQL-Cocoa Description

Standard API for connecting to a MySQL DB server from a Cocoa application programmed in Objective C MySQL-Cocoa is an open source and free development framework aimed at programers which want to connect to a MySQL database from a application developed with Cocoa. The framework is based on the C API of MySQL and hence uses (or include) the libmysqlclient library coming from MySQL.Objects from this framework (namely MCPConnection and MCPResult) belongs to the Model layer and uses anly the Foundation API. The development is done with XCode (the IDE from Apple -previously NeXT-), and no other environment is supported (yet !! if you want to port it to another env. Requirements: · Apple Xcode What's New in This Release: · Corrected a bug preventing to connect to older version of the MySQL DB server. Also added support for a couple of more string encoding.
