The best use for Mac SimpleGPS is to download .LOC (waypoint location) files from GeoCaching.com and transfer them to your GPSr. It is also a great way to save and store your waypoints for later use and reference.Mac SimpleGPS is compatible with Garmin and Magellan GPSr. With support for Magellan and Garmin GPSr, you can use your USB-to-Serial converter to connect and send/receive waypoints.Other features include logging all activity to and from the GPSr and changing the display of units.Mac SimpleGPS was designed with GeoCachers in mind.
