IdentD Description

IdentD - Standalone identd server Since Mac OS X 10.3, there is no identd server on the system. So I've decided to build a standalone identd server. This server runs on Panther and Tiger and is provided with a preference pane which allows you to easily start or stop it. This identd server returns the short username of the user which is currently logged in Aqua.This kind of server could be useful if your Mac is behind a proxy server which requires authentication or when you use IRC.What's New in This Release:· recompiled and now run on Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher· tested on an Intel based iMac.
