A free and open source GSI-enhanced Java DICOM GridDICOM is a GSI-enhanced Java DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) implementation for GSI (Globus)-based grid infrastructures.GridDICOM can be used to achieve a direct and secure DICOM communication in health grids. Requirements: · Java What's New in This Release: · This is the initial version of the griddicom library. · The implementation is stable and can be used for dicom programming in grid infrastructures. · However, the accompanied DICOM router software for routing DICOM traffic to grid systems is not yet finalized and only included to show some programming examples. · The implementation bases heavily on a patched version of the dcm4che 2.0.7 library (www.dcm4che.org), which is included.
