Allows you to expand a Bitly shortened URL to see the original long URL Expand Bit.ly URL utilizes the Bit.ly service and is the companion to the "Shorten URL with Bit.ly" service. To use the service, select the short URL in your browser and then select the "Expand URL with Bit.ly" service. It will put the long URL into your browser's address bar and will also copy it to the clipboard ready for pasting. One of the nice things about the Bit.ly system is that it will both shorten and expand URLs. Make sure you grab both services: "Shorten URL with Bit.ly" & "Expand URL with Bit.ly".
