Click to Play/Pause Description

Click to Play/Pause is a free and open-source VLC Media Player extension which enables you to pause / resume playback of a video with just a click on the window. To use the Click to Play/Pause extension, you first need to enable it from the VLC > Extensions menu. However, you can't toggle it again in the same session. You must restart VLC to un-toggle the extension. To install Click to Play/Pause, copy the '158285-clickpause.lua' file to: /Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/share/lua/extensions/ (for all users)
 /Users/your_name/Library/Application Support/org.videolan.vlc/lua/extensions/ (for the current user) 

Note: If the 'extensions' folder does not exist, create one yourself.
