Copies the font and the paragraph attributes of the text you selected AppleWorks Text Formatter is a free Applescript that copies the font and paragraph attributes of the text you have selected. These attributes (or format) can then be applied to other text you select. The font and paragraph attributes that are copied are the: font name, font size, font colour, font styles (bold, italic, underline, etc) and paragraph alignment. AppleWorks Text Formatter can only be started from the Button Bar in AppleWorks 6, the Finder, or the Dock. It cannot be started from the Script menu in AppleWorks 6.Please follow these steps to create a button for the Button Bar and attach AppleWorks Text Formatter to it:· Choose Preferences from the AppleWorks menu, then choose Button Bar from the submenu.· Click New.· Type a name and description for the button. For example, type "Format Text' for the name and description. NB New buttons come with a default icon, but you can change the icon (see Changing Button Bar button names or icons in AppleWorks 6 Help)· Choose Launch Application from the Action pop-up menu· Click the Choose... button to locate AppleWorks Text Formatter on your Mac.· To have AppleWorks display this button only in word processing documents, click Advanced Options, click Custom, and deselect all environments except Word Processing.· Click OK.· Drag the button from the list in the dialog box to the Button Bar. Requirements: · AppleWorks 6.2.4 or later Limitations: · AppleWorks Text Formatter only formats text in a word processing document, and does not format characters in text boxes, or work with other AppleWorks document types like spreadsheet or draw documents.
