Furthermore, Adobe AIR applications run as regular applications, and do not have to run within another application or shell (as web applications do by running within the browser).Future releases will provide more stability, more desktop integration, and enhanced support for Ajax developers.The Adobe AIR SDK, sample applications, and Adobe AIR documentation provide everything a developer needs to start building applications. There are also technical articles, developer videos, and sample applications located throughout the Labs site.NOTE: Installing the Adobe AIR 2 beta runtime will replace the currently installed Adobe AIR runtime on your system. To revert back to your previous version simply reinstall the previous version of Adobe AIR 1.5.2. Requirements: · Intel Core Duo 1.83GHz or faster processor; PowerPC G4 1GHz or faster processor · 512MB of RAM What's New in This Release: · Adobe AIR 1.5.3 is an update to the Adobe AIR runtime and SDK. The update includes improved reliability, compatibility, and security. It is recommended for all AIR users. AIR applications developed for previous versions of AIR do not need to be updated to work with this update. · An issue related to AIR applications crash on AMD Phenom processors has been resolved in this release.
