The virtual tape can be audited/edited and provides instant revisions to the subtotal.This calculator includes a virtual tape with "insert" to tape and "append" to tape. Insert to tape is used if you inadvertantly missed an entry, append adds a new entry to the end of the tape. Balance is a second tape, allowing you to run through numbers twice. The two tapes will show a DIFF of 0 when the two tapes balance. You should find that entering values is very similar to using the mechanical calculator on your desk.
