vmstat Description

Easily monitor you memory status from your Dashboard. vmstat is a Dashboard widget that shows you a simple, clean snapshot of the current system memory usage on your Mac.vmstat displays the total amount of memory currently available and in use, and how the usage breaks down. This is really similar to what Activity Monitor shows in the "System Memory" area, only the widget is much faster to use than Activity Monitor.It's called "vmstat" because it uses /usr/bin/vm_stat to retrieve the data.
