touchatag Processing Description

Using libnfc, touchatag Processing is free and open-source Processing library which enables you to connect and read from cheap touchatag RFID readers on Windows and Mac OS X.touchatag Processing affords the simultaneously connection of multiple touchatag readers, and up to three tags on each one (due to performance issues of the tags themselves on the touchatag RFID reader). touchatag Processing was tested on Windows 7 Professional, Windows XP SP3, and MacOSX 10.6.5, with Processing 1.0.9 up to 1.2.1. Instructions· Download the corresponding drivers for the touchatag readers from http://www.touchatag.com/downloads (the touchatag software client isn't necessary)· Download the corresponding touchatag Processing library from the Downloads section of this websiste· Place the "touchatag" folder inside processing\libraries· See an example of a Processing sketch that uses the touchatag library in touchatag\examples· Additionally for Mac users, (1) drag both the libnfc.0.dylib and libusb-0.1.4.dylib to the install application on touchatag\library; (2) make sure Java SE 6 32bit is installedtouchatag Processing is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X and Windows.
