simple irc - A simple IRC client for OS X simple irc is an IRC client for Mac OS X written from scratch with REALbasic 5.2.4.No testing has been done on Mac OS X prior to 10.4.2.Main features of simple irc:Themes for changing the appearance (theme tutorial)Custom away, part, and quit messagesFavorite server menuMultiple channel supportAutoconnect to a server on start-upAuto-identify on connectionBuilt-in iTunes currently-playing feature.What's New in This Release: Quotes are not used in the themes anymore. This means you can use double quotes for nickname delimiters. This version will automatically convert themes for beta 3 to beta 4 when they are opened but it will not alter the file. For first time users, default preferences are set when you choose your nickname. Improved parser, eliminates some bugs. When receiving a CTCP ACTION it displays properly. JOIN, PART and QUIT messages display properly. Set part, quit, and away messages in the preferences. /clear command to clear the screen. No longer shows 'PING PONG' when the server pings the client.
