qwikALERT Description

qwikALERT - Set reminders for all those little things that you otherwise might forget, directly from the Dashboard qwikALERT is a simple little widget to remind you of those little things that you would otherwise forget. It could be anything you like, such as change channel now, call back the guy who was on lunch, or even stop playing with your computer and go do something else!! Simply type in the message you want to get, the date and time of that alert and press enter. Alerts are added and managed quickly and easily via the widget but alerts will interupt whatever your doing, in any application. Here are some key features of "qwikALERT":· Alert window appears and remails over all windows, outside of the dashboard· Alert window flashes if you ignore it· Alerts can repeat minutly, hourly, daily or weekly· Alerts can be snoozed for a custom amout of time· Alert can use any system sound, custom sound or be read to you· You can also customize your alert message.· Very flexible time and date entry· Custom choice of 12 or 24 hour times· Customisable colour choices What's New in This Release: · Alert window now stays on top of all other windows and flashes if ignored. · Alerts are now repeatable, as requested. · Snooze times can now be set in alert window, defaulting to the last value . Improved overall coding and design inline with qwikCONVERT. · Alert message is now optional (defaulting to "Alert"). · Improved alert list display layout. · Snoozed times are now shown in widget. · Significantly reduced memory and CPU usage while widget is dormant (i.e. no alerts pending). · Time entry now allows valid 4 digit 24 hour times without a separator. · Time entry now allows entry of times that have passed: if the time entered is AM, then the date is set to Tomorrow / if the time entered could be either AM or PM, PM is assumed. · Fixed bugs caused by Leopard (& hopefully other updates!).
