notepas is a lightweight and portable multi-platform text editor that offers a long list of tools and features useful for different types of developers. notepas comes with a clean and intuitive interface from which you can instantly load, preview and edit your documents. The top toolbar helps you create new files, save and reload them, cut, copy and paste text fragments or code snippets, undo and redo your last changes, find and replace words, change the syntax highlighting rules, shape and filter your code, make smart selections and more. Moreover, notepas offers alpha blend coloring support for multiple layers of transparency that cover both text and background, a powerful code shaper that allows you to use advanced formatting rules along with a code filter that can filter lines which match a given search string or expression. Thanks to notepas, you can also align multiple lines based on the tokens found in the current selection and use highlighters for SQL, XML Java, Perl, Python, HMTL, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, RES and other languages. By accessing the File menu, you can create a desktop link, change the line break style along with the text encoding scheme and enable the "Monitor changes" feature. The Selection menu helps you align, sort and sync your edit, change the indent, convert TABs to spaces, switch from uppercase to lowercase, strip the first or last character of a given word, remove comments, compress spaces, merge blank lines and encode or decode from and to base64 or URL. notepas also helps you find and replace word or code occurrences, format text, access the character map and enable the Auto Guess Highlighter. In addition, you can increase or decrease the font size and hide or show special characters. Furthermore, notepas features Bookmark support, a Hex editor, built-in structure and HTML viewer, scripting support and user definable highlighters.
