ndcMIDI Description

A free MIDI utility audio plug-ins pack ndcMIDI is a free pack of MIDI utility plugins made to use with Tracktion's Rack Filters (though they'll probably work in most audio hosts).Contents:· MIDINoteRangeFilter - Lets the user only allow through a specified range of notes (e.g. for keyboard splits).· MIDICCRangeFilter - For a specified CC, lets the user define a range of values without which the CC is not passed on.MIDIVelocityRangeFilter - Only lets through a specified range of Velocity values.· MIDIForce2Key - Lets the user choose a scale/key, which all notes will then be forced to use. The strategy parameter sets how the plugin decides which note to output. The Transpose parameter sets which note to transpose the output to within the specified key. It takes the current note as 0, so for example an octave above in C Major would be 7 notes above the current one.· MIDIChanneliser - The counterpart to MIDIChannelFilter - forces all input to output on the specified channel.· MIDINoteFilter - Only allows through notes of the specified note value. I made this because I wanted to mix synth sounds from VSTis with drum samples from the sampler, but didn't want e.g. the same sound appearing on top of the snare as appears on top of the kick.· MIDINoteTrans - Transposes the input MIDI notes by the set amount (doesn't take keys/scales into account though...).MIDIVelocityAmp - Amplifies or attenuates MIDI Velocity.· MIDIChannelFilter - Only lets through MIDI on the specified channel. This can be used, for example, to make the effect of MIDINoteTrans global.Installation: Copy the various vst files to your vst plugins directory (/library/audio/plugins/vst/ ?).
