midimon Description

You can monitor any MIDI device connected to your Mac midimon is a free command line MIDI monitor for OS X. You can monitor any MIDI device connected to your mac, or another application's MIDI output by using midimon's virtual mode.When midimon is launched a list of available MIDI inputs is displayed. To monitor a device, type the number of its input and press enter. While an input is being monitored you can switch to different inputs by entering numbers in the same way. You can refresh the input list at any time by hitting enter.Alternatively, midimon can be launched in virtual mode, which allows you to monitor the MIDI output of other applications. A virtual MIDI output is created which applications can select to send data to. If you want to use midimon in virtual mode, you can use the '-v' option.
