It controls VLC by use of it's HTTP-interface, which therefore has to be active.You can control VLC running on the local computer, so you don't have to quit fullscreen, or you can control VLC on a remote computer.kVLC has most of VLC's functionality; play, pause, stop, seek, volume control and a playlist. No manipulation of the playlist is possible as of yet, though.If VLC isn't running, it is better if you put the widget in standby, by pressing the white triangle.Requirements:· VLC 0.85 or later.
