Free Yahoo! widget that shows the current music played in iTunes iTunes Bar is a thin and wide Yahoo! widget, ideal for keeping it at the top or bottom of the screen without eating up screen real-estate. Very customizable and skinnable. iTunes Bar features all the standard displays and controls plus a separate artwork window. Artwork downloaded from Amazon can be embedded in to song files. iTunes Bar provides also hotkeys for iTunes control as well as integration with the lyrics searching Widgets. Requirements: · Yahoo! Widget Engine What's New in This Release: · There are few user-visible changes, but a fairly significant version under the hood. · Upda…ted for full compatibility with Y!WE 4.5 · No more polling iTunes for info, instead relying on events/notifications. This means this widget should never again prevent iTunes from quitting properly. · No more donation nag dialog. I don't plan to spend nearly as much time on widgets in the near future so I'm not asking for donations any more. Many thanks to all those who chipped in to keep development of the widget alive. I will continue to try to address issues as they arise, so please email me with comments and bug reports. · Removed the embed artwork in song file feature as this was too unreliable, and iTunes has a similar built-in feature now. · Pref to disable Amazon artwork lookup. · Removed version check because this is now taken care of by the widget engine. · Simplified preferences by removing per-window settings, instead using the standard window settings panel. · Restoring default skins can now be accomplished from the Skin Manager. · Hierarchical menu for playlist selection. · Work around for Y!WE bug for saving window positions. Artwork window position should now be saved. · Streaming track info should now be displayed properly on the Mac. I haven't had time to implement this on Windows (yet?).
