Free and simple to use tool for archiving digital TV recordings on DVDs iTV2DVD is a free and easy to use application that will let you quickly transfer multiple digital television recordings on a DVD disc.The great advantage of iTV2DVD is that it can be played in stand-alone players. Here are some key features of "iTV2DVD": · Works with any DVB recording (EyeTV, Topfield, etc). · Multiple recordings can be put on one disc. · Makes an easily customizable DVD menu. · Supports multiple audio and subtitle tracks on a recording. · Can extract subtitles from DVB and/or teletext. · Divides the recording into 10 min chapters making it quick to jump back and forth. · Three output formats: 1) multiplexed MPEG files for use with DVD authoring programs, 2) DVD image and 3) DVD disc. Limitations: · Audio and subtitle languages and aspect ratio of a recording are detected from the first frames so if there are parts of the previous tv show in the recording, you might get unexpected results. For the best results, always cut out the parts of the previous show. · Problems with multicolored subtitles · Menu can contain only one "page" ie. if one tries to put so more items than can fit in the menu (which is 10 with the default settings), it won't work. What's New in This Release: · Bugfix: Sometimes only part of the recording was processed. · Multi-part recordings in AVR format (used by Procaster and Mediastar and probably some others too) will be automatically joined.
