Mac OS X command line tool to easily backup and restore iPod music tracks. iPodList is a Mac OS X command line tool to easily backup and restore iPod music tracks.We all know iTunes is the only way to manage iPod music tracks. In most of the cases, this works well. However, there are some situations in which the iTunes operating mode does not help at all and puts some severe limitations to the end user. Here are some key features of "iPodList": · Save iPod music content to a computer in one shot. · Restore the iPod content in one command. · Extract a subset of the music tracks using a simple pattern matching scheme. · List the iPod music content. Requirements: · 64 Mo memory Limitations: · iPodList only manages music tracks. it does nothing for photos, movies, podcasts, and any other content present on the device. · iPodList is not able to support more than 2000 music tracks. · iPodList can be placed in /usr/local/bin directory or any binary repository identified by the PATH, for easier launch (the PATH environement variable can be updated through the /etc/profile which is read each time a shell is created). What's New in This Release: · Extension of track number to 20000 plus various performance improvements.
