dittoGUI Description

dittoGUI is a drag and drop interface for the standard ditto command dittoGUI is a drag and drop interface for the standard ditto command. This is designed for ease of use and only includes a subset of the ditto commands. dittoGUI won't create archives as this may be done directly from Finder.Late Breaking Quirks.· If the dittoGUI window is to close to the left side of the screen, the source drawer opens on the right, and visa versa with the right side and the destination drawer. Solution close the drawer and move the dittoGUI window into the centre of the screen. (This is normal Finder behavior.)· ditto copies the contents of the source folders not the folder itself. (This is normal ditto behavior.)Known Quirks:· To uncompressed .zip files the whole source group must be .zip files.· Only the first 13 characters of long filenames display in the main window, Tooltip has the full filename. This only effects the display.· The window title is not immediately updated when dittoGUI is in the background.· If the destination folder does not exist dittoGUI will create it.
