Daappelganger allows for simultaneous listening connections limited only by your hardware and your local network bandwidth.NOTES: If you need to alter your music sharing preferences, use the "daappelganger.app" utility in your Applications folder. This utility will need to be run by an admin user. ·After the configuration utility has finished and music sharing is configured, you may want to turn off iTunes' inferior built-in music sharing, in order to prevent confusion. ·Depending on the size of your music library, it may take a long time to build the initial cache file and start up music sharing. Your computer may slow down a bit during the indexing, but this will only be truly painful once. Promise. What's New in This Release:It's recommended that you use the "Reset Daappelganger" function under the file menu the first time you run Daappelganger. This will clear out some of the krunk from previous versions of Daappelganger.Daappelganger very much enjoys being run from the "Applications" folder, so if at all possible, place it there before setting up your music sharing.If you'd like Music Sharing to start up automatically at log in, simply add Daappelgnager to your Login Items in System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items. Daappelganger will then start up music sharing automatically.Depending on the size of your music library, it may take a long time to build the "Daappelganger.cache" file and start up music sharing. This will only be slow once during the initial indexing of your music share. Promise.
