A Firefox add-on that allows you to see what lurks beneath those small URLs bit.ly Preview is a Firefox add-on that, whenever you hover over a bit.ly URL on any web page, displays a tooltip showing the Page Title, Long URL, and any Click Data available about the page the URL links to.If you hover over another short URL, http://tinyurl.com/5qhkwo, for example, show the Page Title and Long URL for these links as well.Plus, bit.ly Preview checks to see if anyone made a bit.ly link pointing to the same place, and, if so, shows how many clicks it has received. This way you can easily decide if a link is worth checking out or not. Requirements: · Firefox 1.5 to 3.6.* What's New in This Release: · bit.ly does not have an SSL server, so we no longer load information from the bit.ly API when you are viewing https pages on EV SSL and SSL sites in order to maintain a "secure" browsing status. · Also, checked for compatibility with FF 3.6 and updated install.rdf
