It typically runs xcodebuild to build your project directly, and then shows the build results in a window it makes.Xcode Light leaves this entirely in the hands of Xcode, which is already quite good at building and showing build results. Instead, it uses Apple Events to talk to Xcode and ask it to do these things for it.
