Java project for extracting information from X!Tandem output XML files The XTandem Parser is basically a small application developed in Java that aims to extract information from X!Tandem output files. X!Tandem software can match tandem mass spectra with peptide sequences and works as a search engine for protein identification. The output xml format can be found here (PDF).If you need an example file to play with, one is provided as a zip file, below the main project package. Requirements: · Java What's New in This Release: · Spaces in file names is now supported on all Windows platforms. · The memory settings are no longer hard coded but can be changed be the user. · Error messages in the XTandemViewer are now sent to the ErrorLog text file.
