XQuery USE ME (XqUSEme) Description

A Firefox add-on that allows Xqueries in Firefox. Allows W3C XQuery via Saxon-B XQuery engine (or with an extra download, via the open source Berkeley DB XML native XML database).XqUSEme is written to allow XQueries in Firefox via the open-source Saxon-B XQuery engine, or, with an extra download, via the Berkeley DB XML native XML database. The latter can also allow storage of XML documents but it is about 52 MB to download, and about 400+ MB after installation. The XQuery add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.XqUSEme allows one to perform XQueries on single or multiple local or remote database XML files (or containers in BDBXML). One can also conveniently query the document currently loaded in the current Firefox tab/window, and if it is poorly formed HTML, it may still be possible to query, since the extension will use Firefox to attempt to convert the HTML into a well-formed (but not validated) document.Note: The XQuery add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. Requirements: · Firefox 2.0 or later What's New in This Release: · Made to work with Firefox 3 b2.
