Google Chrome extension that uses the Wikipedia entries to find the correct translation for any selected word Wikipedia Translate is a extension that uses Wikipedia as main source for translating common words.In other words, the Wikipedia Translate extension allows you to translate any word (or group of words) that have an entry in Wikipedia. That means that this extension is just as picky as Wikipedia when looking for entries (accents or other symbols are required). The current version searches among the languages that have more than 10000 entries in Wikipedia.The usage is really simple, you click on the icon, you chose the language from which you are translating and the language to which you are translating, you write the word(s) to translate and then click on the button "Translate". This process can be repeated as many times as wanted.You can use single words(e.g. red) or groups of words (e.g the lord of the rings). A single translation can be selected or you can chose to display all the available translations.If there is no entry for the word a message will be displayed.A button is provided to swap the current languages and another button to go to the Wikipedia entry of the word.
