Free Wikipedia linker and fetcher Colloquy plug-in WikipediaLink is a free plug-in for the IRC program Colloquy that allows the user to easily interface with Wikipedia from the chat window. Among WikipediaLink's features: automatic translation of MediaWiki syntax and links, live lookups in any language Wikipedia. The plug-in can be configured from its preference panel. WikipediaLink understands '''bold''' and ''italic'' text and ]s (even ] ones). Language prefixes are supported (e.g. ] will get you to the German Wikipedia article about itself). Usage: · "/wpl Wikipedia" or "/wpl ]" will look up the Wikipedia article and show you the intro paragraph in the current view. · "/wp Wikipedia" will send the intro paragraph to the chat. · "/wp" or "/wpl" will repeat the latest query (good for re-broadcasting a local query to the room). Installation: To install, drag the WikipediaLink.plugin file to: Home -> Library -> Application Support -> Colloquy -> PlugIns. Either restart Colloquy or issue the command "/reload plugins" in any window. If you are upgrading from a previous version of the plugin, you must restart the program.
