VoltageDrop Description

Quickly calculate the most appropriate cable size for an electrical feeder. VoltageDrop is used to determine the most appropriate cable size for an electrical feeder given the permissible ampacity and the calculated voltage drop. The user has the possibility to enter as many rows in the cable data table for each different cable that they desire to be considered for the calculation. Note that with this flexibilty, the use can enter data on both different sizes, materials, etc. Note that the accuracy of the resistances and reactances in this table must be verified by the user as these can change depending on the properties of the wire actually being used.
