VecScreen Widget - Identify segments of a nucleic acid sequence that may be of vector origin The VecScreen widget provides a quick access to the system at NCBI for quickly identifying segments of a nucleic acid sequence that may be of vector origin. You just have to type or paste your nucleic acid sequence and the result will be displayed in a new browser window.If youre using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widgets icon in the Widget Bar to open it.If youre using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widgets icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
