TruBlog Description

Open source and free application presenting the true weblogging TruBlog is a lightweight system for running a weblog. TruBlog features multiple authors, Trackback, RSS, topics (amongst others). TruBlog comes with easy installation and strong caching mechanisms. It is also localisable and produces a valid XHTML. Theming is done through CSS. What's New in This Release: · implement searching for spots · implement editing spots / comments on welcome page · rework author UI · Turkish and Dutch translation · complete rewrite of TruBlog core · merged mod_rewrite files in one · changed in storing configuration values; introducing patConfiguration · available languages and themes now listed in config file, not in a template · records are now being counted a bit safely · if TruBlog not set up correctly, any page redirects to setup · improved the way setup guesses root URL for the weblog · setup now less strict about creating .htaccess files · fixed few notices in setup · debugging now enabled in setup, disabled when setup finishes · minor positioning glitches in setup and admin · some classes not instantiated by references · setup may fail while creating database tables · removing database tables on setup error did not work
