ThunderBird Reset Quote Header is an extension that replaces Tb's standard quote header with one you can configure.Once the extension is installed, your new quote header files created OR copied out of the XPI and TB restarted, you will need to point to the new quote header files in the ResetQuoteHeader extension's prefs.The new quote header files are simple files that can mimic the look of what you want the new quote header to look like. You put tokens in the file that get replaced with text from TB. There are two different files. One file is used if you are composing in plaintext, while the other is used if you are composing in html.Sample quote header files are included in the XPI. Just open the XPI with any unzip program (like winzip) and extract the files to anywhere you want. You can call them whatever you want as well. When you go into the extension prefs, you can pick the quote header files and locations.You can now modify the look of the quote header on replies.
