Symbolic Plotter Description

Cross platform, open source graph creator, written in Java Symbolic Plotter is a desktop application for creating graphs of data series and mathematical functions. The intention is to support a wide variety functions and chart types, producing high quality, customisable graphs which can be printed or exported as images. Symbolic Plotter may then evolve to provide further visualization and analysis tools. The longer term plan is to grow the project to include many Mathmatica-like functions. The plotter seems like a good place to start, it will be possible to create a useful application is quite a short timescale, and use that as a basis for the future.
