SymbolHeadline is an Illustrator plugin for creating wow banner designs as well as abstract symbol based designs and more.A simple easy to use plugin for Illustrator to create dynamic symbol banners or headlines, animated (or not). The plugin comes with a selection of quick and easy presets to get you going, from basic headline effects to a number of layered animation effects. SymbolHeadline is using the symbol palettes, that help keeping the size of the animation down and provide an easy way to use template/themed projects. The actual result of the preset depends on the symbols actually stored in the symbols palette. · Symbols palette - Symbols are accessed via the symbols palette. Place in the symbols palette. Access via the plugin to create stunning visual effects. · Illustrator Native symbols - Use native symbols or use native brushes and convert to symbols. Illustrator comes with a huge selection of native symbols but you can also easily create your own. Simply drag an image or path or set of paths into the symbols palette. The symbol palette can also be modified, items removed, positions changed, symbols re-defined etc. · Symbols scruncher - Once the symbols have been added, you can also use the native symbol tools such as scruncher to tweak. · Replace symbols - Or replace the symbols at a later stage of creative process. · Export symbols - Save output as SWF or Save as SVG. · Dynamic symbols - Create dynamic banner as well as standard path illustrations. · Effects and symbols - Use in combo with the wonderful 3D effects or sketches styles in CS or CS2 or CS3. · Animations - Great for animations. · Initial size and symbols - The symbols have a set size and initial angle, the plugin can set the symbol initial size and angle (though this is not any particular use if one of the symbols is 20 times the size of another as all the symbols are reduced in size. The symbol headline tool works best if all the symbols are the same size. There is no particular easy way of doing this via the palette, other than re-creating the symbol and reducing or increasing the size or changing the angle. · Placements - The plugin defaults to displaying the symbols in all the slots of the headline.. So if 10 symbols are requested, 10 symbols are slotted in at 20pt gaps by default. If you wish to have a random placement or perhaps 2 symbols gap 2 symbols gap, the placement option needs to be set. The placement also controls the randomization of the symbols so perhaps more symbols than gaps are created or just 50-50. · Symbols order - If there is more than one symbol in the symbols palette, symbols are either selected in an ordered manner from the symbols palette or picked randomly depending on the options set on the dialog. For example - display ABCDEFGHIJK or AHDDIJBHJKE etc. Requirements: · Adobe Illustrator CS1, CS2. Limitations: · The demo is currently not for CS4. What's New in This Release: · Update to CS4.
