Swiss Lakes and Rivers Widget Description
A great dashboard widget that displays information about the Swiss rivers. This widget shows more than 300 Swiss federal gauging stations with their real time data, operated by the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).It displays the river or lake name with the current measure, unit, and date and time of measurement. The date is in the format DD.MM.YY.The widget checks for new data every 15 minutes and reads the data directly from the FOEN webpage. All displayed data are provisional.Clicking on a station name takes you to the FOEN site and opens that station's PDF. This PDF is available in German or French (depending on the station's location), showing a graph of the past 7 days.If you press on the Widget Title "Swiss Lakes and Rivers" your default browser will take you to the FOEN website.
