SquidFire Description

Free and open source application that searches for keywords in Squid logs SquidFire is a PHP script that searches Squid logs for keywords. SquidFire is designed to seach for sites users shouldn't be viewing or track specific users surfing history. What's New in This Release: · Removed the use of Grep to pre-filter the log files. All filtering is now done in PHP · Added javascript to populate Processing Time, Scanned Row Count and Found Row count to the top of the page instead of the bottom. · Split out the code that creates the log Cache files since this will be getting much more complex in the future. · Added a new option to not display certain domains in the result output such as "ad.doubleclick.com" · Fixed a bug where the mime type field also contained a line feed. · Changed the "Hide Images and Secondary Requests" to "Only show web pages" · Added the ability to filter out log rows based on mime-type when using the "Only show web pages" option with the ignore_mime[] option · Added a bunch of defaults to the new mime filtering option · Changed the images[] filter option to ignore_ext[] · Added more default filters to ignore_ext[] · Log rows of type text/html are now in bold when not filtering with the "Only show web pages" option · Non text/html pages are now indented when not filtering with the "Only show web pages" option · New option to configure which columns should be displayed and what order they should be displayed in via the columns option · Added CSS style to change the background color of the url column when the mouse is over a row to help horizontal reading of rows · Added ability to search by request size · Added the Size column as a default column to be displayed. · Removed need for "head" command to generate the "From" date of the log. · Moved all cache operations to cache.inc.php and made each operation a seperate function for easier readibility · Added new Total Rows to the cached information about each log. · Changed the front page to show more information about each log
