Helps you regain space and keep your system tidy Squeeze is an easy to use background file compressor which uses the new HFS-compression technology in Snow Leopard to be able to transparently compress the folders you configure it to process. Mac OS X Snow Leopard will read those files normally, they will just take less disk space. Here are some key features of "Squeeze": · Silent, works like magic. Download, install and forget about it. Compressed files still work even if you uninstall Squeeze. · Unobtrusive, uses spare resources. You always have your machine available when necessary. · Save space, no catch - Squeeze compresses, Mac OS reads files as always. · See results: use the menu item, or check on the preference pane - you will always know how much Squeeze has saved. · Total control - pause Squeeze when you need all your Mac resources. · Compress everything, or just a bit - select the folders you want. Limitations: · This demo version will allow you to gain up to 50MB of space.
