Spot Maps is a simple application that will scan your network and detect all available devices. The app is able to detect both desktops, printers, mobile devices or servers. Spot Maps then offers you the possibility to create maps by dragging and dropping devices in the editing area. You are able to quickly create connections between devices, add captions, add different symbols, lock the position of an item and specify if it should be viewed on top or under any other stations or symbols. Spot Maps allows you to sort the hosts list by different criteria: online/offline, in Maps/not in Maps or the ones found in the most recent scan. In addition, if you press the “Live” button, you will be able to monitor your network’s devices and view their status in real-time. Spot Maps also enables you to quickly connect to devices though each device’s panel. Spot Maps is a great tool if you want to always keep an eye on your network. The included mapping tools will also prove useful if you need to share your network’s configuration.
