Easily split or join media files. Split n Join lets you combine multiple movie clips into one independent QuickTime movie, which you can import and then export. Similarly, Split n Join lets you combine multiple audio clips into one QuickTime audio file. Also, users can combine split DMG parts into one disc image, restoring the original state.Which audio and video formats Split n Join support depends on the operating system. If you use Mac OS 10.4 Tiger or 10.5 Leopard, you can import such multimedia container formats as AVI, Divx, M4V, MOV, MP3, MP4, MPEG, MPG, WMV and more when appropriate QuickTime components are installed. Snow Leopard users should have less choices because Apple changed the way QuickTime accesses QuickTime components under Mac OS 10.6. As for joining audio clips involving Ogg Vobis, XIPH.ORG's XiphQT Core Audio component is required.For now Split n Join does not allow users to split MKV (Matroska) movie files into multiple files.
