Free OpenGL screensaver based on the geometry of a Spirograph Spirex is a free OpenGL screensaver based on the geometry of a Spirograph, only with continuously varying wheel sizes.Spirex uses OpenGL, even in the 2D modes and, depending on your graphics hardware, it could take a lot of CPU time, which may be quite a problem if you usually run many background tasks, or if you're running on battery power. Here are some key features of "Spirex": · Swirling images based on a 3D extension of a Spirograph · Texture mapping of 3D solids. Several textures are supplied, but you can also use your own images. · Anti-aliased lines in 2D modes. · Many parameters to explore so it never gets stale. · Saving of user presets.
