Spacewatcher Description

Spacewatcher - keep an eye on the amount of free disk space on a machine Spacewatcher monitors the amount of free disk space on machines and will alert designated people when that space falls below predefined thresholds.Spacewatcher is designed to keep an eye on the amount of disk used, and byextension available disk space on a machine. Currently, Spacewatcher is intended to be run from cron at regular intervals but a daemon version is in the works.Known issue: A user on a system could use this to generate an inordinate amount of e-mails to a specified user by setting a very low threshold with -t and the victims e-mail address with -e. It is advisable to add a user for Spacewatcher to run as, and make spacewatcher only executable by that user.
