SoundView Description

SoundView - View the sound being received by the computer and pass a portion of it through a Hamming window SoundView is part of the slurred open source speech recognition system. This program allows a user to view the sound being received by the computer and pass a portion of it through a Hamming window and then perform an FFT on this portion. The results of this calculation can then be viewed.SoundView is written in Java and a version of the program that uses the Mac OS X extensions is provided as a disk image.The platform independent version of the program is available as a jar file. Of course, the source code is also available.
