Free and open source sound recorder and editor SoundRecEd provides a simple GUI to record and edit sound files, similar to operating a tape-deck. Buttons start and stop recording, or break incoming audio into separate files. SoundRecEd allows you to cut sections from audio file, or join files and you can also save files in MP3, WAV or OGG audio format.NOTE: SoundRecEd is licensed and distributed under the terms of the MIT License. What's New in This Release: Added to SoundRec the following invocation options: · start recording after specified delay. · start file-naming sequence at given number. · stop recording after specified recording time. · stop recording after specified number of cuts. · call specified script or filter program on each cut. · Added button to invoke Sound-Ed from Sound-Rec.
