Soliloquy Composer is a Mac OS X app that enables you to make libraries of exercises for Soliloquy, an innovative educational application for the iPad.Soliloquy allows language learners and their instructors to interact through audio recordings inside or outside the classroom in a way that complements the course curriculum. With Soliloquy, instructors are able to create a variety of tasks for their students centered around an audio file and an instructional prompt. Sample tasks might include:· pronunciation exercises; · listening or reading passages with aural/oral comprehension questions; · images or embedded videos for description or narration; · simulated interviews where students answer a series of questions posed by the teacher. In addition, independent language learners will also find Soliloquy useful in their listening and speaking practice because they can create their own self-study exercises for Soliloquy using Soliloquy Composer.Soliloquy Composer allwos you to create tasks involving listening, reading, or viewing (images/videos) and can set the location of accompanying media (audio files, websites, video, PDFs, images, etc.) and the WebDAV servers that will receive exercises completed in Soliloquy.NOTE: To download Soliloquy Composer via the App Store, an Apple account is required.
